What we do

Support designed around the real lives of girls and young women.

Our work combines guidance, practical experiences and positive relationships so young people can grow emotionally, socially and personally.

Mentoring & confidence

Structured conversations and mentoring help girls understand themselves, communicate with confidence, set goals and navigate the pressures of growing up.

Wellbeing & early support

We make room for honest conversations around emotional wellbeing, healthy routines, self-esteem, relationships, resilience and asking for help when it is needed.

Our safeguarding approach

Leadership & life skills

Young people are encouraged to think independently, work with others, take responsibility, make decisions and develop practical skills they can carry into adulthood.

Growing with purpose

Confidence grows when young people are seen, heard and trusted.

TWYA is intentionally practical. We want young people to leave our sessions with more than inspiration — they should have stronger self-belief, useful skills, healthy relationships and a clearer sense of direction.

Identity and self-beliefHelping girls understand their strengths and value without having to become someone else.
Communication and relationshipsPractising how to speak up, listen well, set boundaries and build positive connections.
Ambition with supportEncouraging young people to imagine bigger possibilities while giving them guidance for the next practical step.
